Preparation Area

The break room, called The Kitchen in reference to the heart of many homes, features a preparation area and seating area. The back wall of the seating area is a grid that features wooden panels, the company colors, and the company’s slogan. This reinforces the mission and reminds employees of what they’re working towards everyday. The break room alludes to Habitat’s mission by featuring wooden slats. The wooden slats are 16” apart in reference to the wood framing used in home building. The wood for the ceiling has a slight pitch in reference to the pitch of a roof.
